TO THE WORLD’S BEST FOLLOWERS: Hey, I just wanted to drop in and say I think you’re awesome. I wanted to encourage you to keep on walking this walk with the Lord. I know some of you are having a rough time and I just wanted to come alongside you and say, “I’m cheering for ya, praying for ya and I’m just so dang glad you’re here, doing your thing!” My friend Tom pointed out the coolest verse this past Sunday and it was such a huge encouragement to me that I thought I’d pass it along to you: 2 Timothy 2:8 “Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel.” Now, you might be thinking… well, Duh! Who can forget Jesus raised from the dead? Well check this: it seems like tons of the problems and trials that turn into temptations, darkness and depression in my own life are because I’ve forgotten two basic things: Jesus is risen from the dead and Jesus is descended from David. In other words, Jesus has conquered death and the grave and is powerfully alive forevermore to take care of me no matter what. In fact, His power is inside me, working to help me. Not only that, but Jesus is part of David’s family tree – just like God promised He would be 1,000 years before it happened. In other words, It may take a long time for God’s promises to come through, but God always keeps His promises. So friend, wherever you are and whatever is going down in your life right now, remember, Jesus is alive and powerful to help you and God is always keeping His promises, no matter what. Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel – and it’s yours too! Cheers, Lee

Thanks Lee! Yes God does keep his promises, so I’ll hold on to it.

Temptations or depressions it is for us that will make us stronger, better person in the future..

God Bless!

YO, TUMBLRERS!! Can I just say… wow? I mean, I am so impressed that some of y’all are still on two feet, walking around through this day. The messages I’ve been getting from some of you lately are proof that you guys are right smack-dab in the middle of the Spiritual battle. Now, I know that it’s hard – and some of you have gotten slammed recently, but let me encourage you: when you’re getting hit as hard as you guys are, it can only mean one thing: you are a strategic part of God’s plans. Now, I know that you probably think I’m full of it, but listen up – why else would the devil be all over your case unless you were an integral part of the movement of the Kingdom of God?!?! Huh!? (See what I did, there?) You, my friend are massively important. The Lord knows it, the enemy knows it – it’s time for you to get on board and realize that you’re one of a kind and you’re a huge part of what God wants to do in the world. Now, because you’re so important, I’m praying for you all the time. In fact, I’m writing this message to all you you tumblrers out there to let you know I’m praying for you by name, right now. And let me encourage you with one more thing while you’re fighting your way through the spiritual battle… you ready for it? Here it comes: It’s not gonna last forever. We just have to fight for a little while and then we’ll all be livin’ it up in perfect paradise forever with Jesus! Check out this awesome verse and remember I love ya and I’ve got your back! Isaiah 35:10 “And those the LORD has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.”

TO ALL MY FAVORITE TUMBLR PEEPS! Dang, I love reading your posts, seeing your pictures, laughing at your gifs (you guys are so freaking creative) – and I have to say that on top of all that fun stuff, I see a LOT of hurt on here… some of y’all are going through so much crap and I’m feeling for ya, for real. So, I wanted to address that more personally and let you know that I’m actually going through my whole list of followers and lifting you up in prayer, by name. One at a time. No joke. I’m asking God to comfort you in your distress and to pour out His love into your heart so you can feel it. That’s my prayer for you and I hope it encourages you, but there’s something else you should know, and dang, I didn’t make this up (I wouldn’t have had the guts to come up with something this mind-alteringly awesome) Check this out: “Record my misery; list my tears on your scroll— are they not in your record?” That verse is Psalm 56:8. God says that when something breaks your heart, it breaks His as well. In fact, when you shed a tear, He makes a note of it. He writes it down in His journal because He loves you like that and because He wants to remember every tear so that later on, He can do something about it. The Lord has your back and so do I. If you’re doing great this week and know someone who’s having a hard time, why not share this verse and this truth with them. God loves you… He writes down your tears. Pass it on. And hey, thanks for being you. Keep rockin’! – Lee

God Bless your Heart Lee!
